BURGERS causes global warming: would you give up eating hamburgers?

The (UN-FAO)report says that 18 percent of greenhouse gases are coming from animal agriculture- meat and dairy, used in making burgers and that what most people are eating contributes more to global warming than the entire transportation sector of the United States. Can you believe that?

They are actually not stopping us to eat burgers but consider vegan burgers once in awhile or start to be vegetarians as it is beneficial on a human level, it prevent high cholesterol, heart disease, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease and various cancers.

I read that it's another global warming ploy etc., and perflexed with exactly how do they expect to convince the current global society of these findings when food commodities (wheat, corn, rice, soya) are at an all time shortage in the world?

THat instead of badgering the 20% people who eat burgers, why not concentrate on the 80% who causes such harmful ways that are causing Earth's demise.

I guess that makes sense...
