 How many Nintendo Wiis have you all won in the last few days?
Every other time I refresh my page, I am congratulated by some loud woman telling em I have won a free Nintendo Wii! I am about ready to open a Wii store, I have won so many of them.
Is this happening to anyone else? Is it driving you nuts?
I have had to turn off my sound, which I hate doing.

I mean, having to see the flashy moving ones on the screen is annoying enough to give me a headache--why do they have to talk?!

I had a time or two yelled back at the thing saying "hello this" or " shut up" which always made whoever was around me laugh.

| 7. the_ruler (785) | 1 month ago |  I haven't seen those ads yet. Maybe it is because of my geographical location since not all the advertisements are same in different countries. I have seen that in many ptc sites. There are many advertiseements in my local language and I was really surprised to see that. but after experiencing the same thing over and over on different websites now I am sure they built a very clever advertisement system which chooses the advertisment for your location and shows it to you.
While the big-flashy flash advertisements are already a pain in the head (lol) I am also really annoyed by the audio ones. I sometimes see audio ads in some websites and it doesn't always allow you to turn it off and it really pisses me off from surfing the internet.
As the people are getting more and more greedy everyday, internet is also taking its response from that. They were not that annoying a few years ago. There wasn't loads of advertisements on every website we visit and at least they were small advertisments. However, now they are really big and you have to "close" them to browse the web site you want and it annoys me.

I'm sure by the one hundredth time I hear that voice I'll give in and click whatever it is that will ultimately spam me for the rest of my life.
