Our rights being stolen!

We elect Congress to protect our liberties and it is sad that they are giving them all away. If they stand to gain votes in the election from illegal voters, I suppose they will continue the pandering. I hope when the next Congressional elections come about, the voters will "clean House" and Senate, too.

Thanks for your reply littleowl. I agree it is a problem without an answer. I'm sure INS is overloaded with doing their job, but it seems there could be more done. Maybe if they were diligent there wouldn't be so MANY illegal aliens taking people's jobs and meddling in our affairs(yes, if they are voting illegally they are meddling.)

As a legal alien you are as welcome to me as a law abiding citizen, but you won't be allowed to vote until you become a naturalized citizen through INS. There is an application process you must go through to do that. Here is a website that tells what is involved. Good luck.

They are being allowed to register for the vote because the election offices haven't required them to produce naturalization papers. The offices say it would cause difficulty for the real citizens to be able to vote if they required all of them to show the papers, but in my opinion these election offices that let them slip through are not doing their jobs and if they are caught they should be fired.

Well, if they did not let illegal aliens get drivers licenses, they would not have a legal form of ID and if they were not born here in the US, they would not have a birth certificate either - unless they became a citizen and had naturalization papers.

Oops! Typo! The word is "emphasis."

By the existing laws they should not be able to register to vote. The problem is that so many election offices are turning their heads and allowing them to register without proof they are naturalized citizens. It appears that in a short time it won't matter anyway because the USA is about to erase the borders between the USA, Mexico and Canada.

When you register to vote, you have to include driver license information. I would propose that illegal aliens should not be allowed to get a drivers license. I do not see what is so hard about becoming LEGAL. There are so many people who aren't, it's just like going into a store and stealing something you want because you don't have the money. Why not go do a job for somebody and earn the damn money, THEN go to the store? GRRR.

I wish the USA would get over their bullpuckey about the borders. The more they try to "fix" things, the more people come over here. Wouldn't it be simpler to take all that wasted government money and help all those dirt poor people across the border so that they have no need to come over here? Oh wait...if we did that who would pick the fruits and veggies

Plans are almost complete for the USA to eliminate their borders with Mexico and Canada, so then it won't matter where on the continent they are from, they will have full "rights" like everyone else...or maybe not, because the US Constitution will also be rewritten.

There was not a media blackout at that meeting.

Snopes.com listed this as rumor, but since there has been a media blackout, I wonder where they are getting their information. I know people tend to trustSnopes without question, but I am not ready to throw my reasoning away because
something is reported there.

By that reasoning, isn't it mean that my family doesn't have free education or free healthcare?
I'm saying is, take care of us, the US citizens first. I have no problem with immigrants, but they need to do it in the proper manner, get a work-visa, green card.

Mexico is a very needy country and the USA has a lot it could share, but we should take care of our own first and not be coerced to "share" our resources by force.

I absolutely agree. We need to take care of AMERICAN CITIZENS FIRST. This is the bottom line. I don't see anything else even remotely fair about not taking care of your own citizens of your own country first. What we are doing as a country is akin to a family deciding that instead of paying their own bills and mortgage and car payments and for their kids' school stuff and sports and doctor visits to take their money and go throw it in the street in the ghetto section of town. Really. What the heck?! Do you really think a family would do that? Probably not. But our government is doing that!!

We need to stop doing anything to help these people who are not legally allowed to be here. They are not american citizens. They should not get ANY help whatsoever until EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN CITIZEN has what they need, food, shelter, a job, an education, health care, a chance to better their life. When this is done, then we can begin to help those who are not supposed to be here - but in return they have to take steps to become legal, or again the help should be withdrawn. Totally.

My husband was born in El Paso,teas he knows first hand how bad it has been in Texas for many years.
I watched a news clip on Fox News about illegals leaving the state of Texas in large numbers returning to their homes in Mexico.
The law has cracked down on employers in Texas,making finding work for the Mexican people very hard.
Day labor workers mill around for hours and more hours go home come back in the morning and mill around all day,in hopes they will get to work,the call don't come,because of the harsher fines against employers.
This clip talked to Mexican people they told the reporter they was going back home,they came to the U.S. to work but any more their is no work for them,they have no choice but to go back to their homes in Mexico.
My husband here in Oregon is a profession tree trimmer his guy that works with him is a Mexican man,been in the U.S. fourteen years,we simple love this wonderful man,he is a very good person and outstanding worker.
He renews his work visa when it is required if him,but he is going back to his ranch to live in Mexico before much longer.
If Barack Obama is elected president think we are moving to Mexico our selfs,we are not at all interested living in the U.S. after Obama forms his Civilian National Security Force sounds to much like socialism to us.
One thing about illegals they would be safe cause Obama said on July 22,2008 during his call to service speech in Colorado Springs,Co, he will be calling every American to community services in their neighborhoods,the illegals are not yet Americans so they will not be required to preform community services,nor likely be called in to action under Barack Obama's "Civilian National Security Force"being they are not Americans.
