Naw. I've lived in Kansas almost all my life, and storms are a way of life. I used to love to sleep through the storms. I worked for an insurance company for years, so for a long time I'd wake up and listen for hail. I've also have had dogs off and on through the years. I tend to wake up just to be sure they're in the house; but once I know the dogs are in, I just lay back and enjoy the storm.

Actually they do sometimes. My family and I just moved south from Pennsylvania about two months ago. We are certainly in new territory now. I live where tornadoes can happen more. I am used to thunderstorms and lightening but have been a little more on my guard because we live in a closer proximity to the Gulf of Mexico where there can be more moisture build up and a chance for more tornado activity. cry
