20,000 Unread GMail???

OMG, what was this person's purpose of keeping those mails? I wouldn't exert an effort of sending this person an email or a PM either. I am using Yahoo mail and so far, I have 200 unread messages. Well, I don't have to read it coz it's all notifications from mylot and my other sites, which I have responded already when I logged in. So I don't have to read it anymore.

OMG 20,000 emails,I would not even receive that many in a year.

I clear my emails each and every day.

The most emails I ever received when turning the computer on of a morning was around 100.
Then I only received that many because mylot had a glitch and 2 of everything was turning up.

Notifications are not working tonight either Hiccup.

20,000 unread mails..oh..I doubt if the person logged into his account for a month or so. The maximum number of mails that I recieve in a day varies from 20-25. I check them all and if unnecessary I delete them at once. I even check my spam folder daily after I found an important mail delivered into that folder. So I delete the unnecessary spam mails also. I do not know why this person has this many unread mails. Then what would be the purpose he has a mail id. What about those people who has sent a mail,message or comment to him?I really wonder if he needs an id at all.

That sounds insane! What's the point? Must be better to start afresh

I have had more than 100 emails in my inbox after I have been away for some time. I will always read them all though.

Oh my goodness, 20,000 mails? thats just total madness! I will never dare emailing or pm. The most amount of mails I have ever had in my mailbox junk inluded is 1200. Inbox only the most i have ever held for long is 280. i think its better to delete or read as they come in so that not to miss the most important ones burried underneath the normal notifications.

He would have forget that mail id, after creation.. may be he would have used for filling offers, and ptc sites, with no real intention of using it.
What use is to have those mails, just because we have unlimited storage in Gmail.

I had some months back.. around 300 mails all ptc, because i was not able to login. And now the problem is resolved for ever.. all ptcs sites.. buried deep.

I check my inbox,at least once a day.

I never let my gmail pile up too much, ten is the most unread emails I've ever had there. Oh wait, when I moved I wasn't able to check it for a week so I had about 25! My Gmail is mostly for family and SendEarnings activity. I rarely get spam in my Gmail, thank goodness.

I'm guessing they used their Gmail account
for spam type emails and signing up at freebie sites
and games sites. Many people have one email account
specifically reserved for SPAM and newsletters and such.

All I can figure is that they went away for awhile and
didn't realize the account was still active and when
they came back they found all the spam!

Or, perhaps, they don't check that email address often.
And why should they? Supposedly, it has unlimited
storage space!

I did that once with a Yahoo email account.

I left for three months and when I returned the
entire email box had 14,000 emails!

Mostly SPAM newsletters from my yahoo groups members.
Those people can get a little voracious with their
email sending habits. They've never heard of CAN-SPAM
act presumably!

I spent four hours dejunking and four months later
it was just as bad. Such a tedious and tiring task.

After that Yahoo email came up with a smart way to delete
all emails at the same time.

Just point, click and delete!

Takes just a few seconds time!

hi dear at times it get tough i do not have unread mails but responding takes a day or two mainly because of time constraint..but i try and clear they as soon as possible..but i have about 50-60 responses back log..have a nice day dear..
