Have you sold any personal stuffs at eBay?  | |  As an active eBayer in my country (Phils.), I have had the chance to sell a number of my personal stuffs ranging from books to asian paintings. I sold two of my cellphones at eBay. I also sold our microwave oven, a video camera and my own x-box game console. And what do I do with the sales proceeds? Of course, buy more stuffs to sell at eBay someday, hehe. What about you, have you sold any personal items at eBay? Tell me your story...

My prob is I don't have a card yet to verify my account. I am hesitating of getting one from Unionbank because of the possible inactivity fees that i may incur, since I don't think I will be getting much payment from my online activities, including selling my items at ebay. (and I don't prefer to change the banks where I do savings to Unionbank just for the purpose of having a debit card I can use with Paypal)
So back to your topic, I want to ask, were your buyers local too or are they international? i never thought ebay would be easily acceptable to us, but it seems it easier to sell items, and I am getting more encouraged to sell there. i have some books, computer parts, CD movies, an old manual camera to sell.

| baruchaba (581) | 3 months ago | Most of my buyers are local but I have sold some stuffs to international buyers too (some asian paintings and comic books) and that's where I use my paypal account to receive payments from the buyers from abroad. You'd be surprised how many are using eBay in the Phil. The first eBay seminar launched in 2006 (I think) attracted only about less than a hundred eBayers inside a small function room of shangrila. The next year the eBay seminar was held in a grand ballroom accomodating over 500 eBayers. Today, the active eBayers in the community runs in the thousands. I use a free tool for eBay that helps promote all my eBay listings. When someone clicks on the tool to see another of my listings, I get paid for someone clicking on the tool (even if they don't bid!)
