Debt to Income Ratio

thanks for this info. I was aware that sometimes good credit isn't enough if you have outstanding debt. I haven't plugged in my info yet, but I know I dont want to see my score.

Another thing I have found out is that credit rating is not just about paying your bills on time. It also depends on what you use that credit card for that can occasionally bring your credit rating down.

Something else that has been happening is that banks have been lowering people's credit lines on their credit cards, & even though they never had any late payments, that also brings down someone's credit score.

Using one credit card to pay another credit card? That is one big no-no. Also, it is better to have amaller debts on several credit cards than one huge debt on a single card.
