Have You Donated Your Hair Before?

I have a couple times since my hair grows quickly. I'm working towards growing it out enough again before I cut it since I'm so close to being able to donate it. I don't like long hair on myself much so I'm not sure if I'll ever end up doing this again, but I didn't want my hair to go to waste if it's almost long enough to donate.
Once I can cut off my hair, I'll get a cute short hair cut.
So do you donate your hair? How long do you grow it out? I usually just do the minimum 10 inches. But once I sent in 2 feet of hair.

Wow - no my hair doesn't grow long enough to do that!! Wish it did though as then I would donate!

Really? I always thought anyone could grow their hair out. Mine will get down past my behind if I let it. It does tangle though and I hate combing it. That's why I think once I can donate my hair, I'm going to just keep it short after that. But I'll feel guilty if I cut it short right now with so little to go.
