  does anyone out there know where the oil from the alaskan oil pipe line goes? well, i can tell you.it goes to the chinese.instead of our government using it for us,they have to sell to the chinese.if we could have kept that oil for ourselves,oil would not be so high today.also,gas at the pump would be a little bit lower.there is also some price gouging going on,that our law makers are doing nothing about.

I think it is just terrible. My husband read that the US exports 70% of our oil. Isn't that ridiculous?
We don't need to do all the crap that we keep hearing about. All we need to do is start keeping the oil here.
I wonder who is in control of that. The US or the oil companies. Probably the oil companies. Make a better snow job.

This country keeps talking about getting rid of our dependence on foreign oil and then our own oil is being sold so we can turn around and import it. It makes no sense. | |

Now we Buy Black Crude from over seas, and in return we sell black crude to overseas.
Silly, oh Blood.y NO.
You see, our Black CRAP, is GOOD CRAP for Aircraft fuel.
The CRAP we buy in is POOR CRAP, suitable for cars.
Now we are Flogged off with the story of Balance of TRADE.
But it is all HUSH-HUSH as payment for OUR crude is higher than what we buy back, so we (Australia) make a profit.
And no it's not passed on.
Now No 2 RIP OFF, we sell LPG, (Liquid gas) to JAPAN at 8 cents a litre, but for us Australians to buy it at the GAS station costs 88.9 cents a litre.
HOW WE GET SCREWED BIG TIME.

But they dont get away with it, I feed it up them all the time.
They know me by fist name, and I like that you can see them run when I come in, but sad people, many do not stand up to Government/s.
They lay and take whats fed to them without complaint.
