golden girl actress dies

i just heard on the news that the famous golden girl actress estelle getty(who played the funny sarcastic mom on golden girls)has died today i think she was in her eighties, she also played in another movie that i watched before "stop or my mom will shoot" which i thought was a really good movie, i remember watching a few episodes of the golden girls and i thought that she was really funny whenever she was on the program because she was so sarcastic...and i laughed at her a lot because i thought that she was really funny...so tell me did you like her, if so what did you like her in(as far as movies or television)she was a great actress in my opinion...thanks for reading my discussion and have a great day!

This is real news to me and thank you for it.
I remember this lady since I used to watch the show for many years at home and I did think it was one of the better shows to come out of America.
My sincerest sympathy to all who loved her and to her family.

Yes,I heard this on the news and I was very sad to hear it, she was a very good actress. I loved the golden girls, it was my favorite show. She will really be missed.

She was a very good actress but from what I understand it was a total blessing that she passed. It was very upsetting for her friends as she couldn't recall who they were so they really didn't get to say goodbye.....but she did alot for entertainment!

Yes I did hear about this and it is a very sad thing that this has happend. We all must look at the bright side of things though she got to live a long happy life and she did what she loved most which was acting. I have watched the golden girls and yes she was funny. She will be missed by many and may god touch the hearts of family and friends that loved her so much.

Awww that's really sad news. I watched a fair few episodes of the Golden Girls and laughed alot, I dunno if I watched them all because I don't know how many they made. I thought Estelle Getty was great in it and always had something sarcastic to say just at the right moment.
She'll be sorely missed
