 We are looking for vacation ideas. What is the best place that you have ever been to while on vacation? Tell where that place was and what made it the best place that you have been to.
Mine would be Montego Bay, Jamaica because of the white sand ansd crystal clear waters. Also because that is where we honeymooned:)

2.  sudalunts (1188) | 4 weeks ago |  I enjoyed my vacation to Niagra Falls, in Ontario Canada. It was so beautiful. I stayed for four days. I would really like to go ago. I also enjoyed Bermuda, I went on a cruise there. It is such a clean lovely island. The food was good, and the beaches were so crisp and clean.
Another idea for you is a cruise to nowhere, my husband and I went on one a couple years ago, it was really nice, there are so many activities on the ship. We sailed for three days, never got off of the ship, that is why it is called a cruise to nowhere.

| 3. wallstreet (272) | 4 weeks ago | I have been to the Carribian, Florida, New Orleans, Houston and Galveston, Mississippi, Chigago, Maryland and Washington DC, West Virgina, Northern and Southern California, Oregon, and Washington State. And I have been to Canada -Toronto, Winsor and Nothern Canada.
Oregon and Northern California are by far my favorite. Lots to Do and very diverse.

The whitewater rafting is outstanding(I am no expert and have been only twice..)
The wild life is spectacular, and the scenery is gorgeous!
The wine tasting is great in Napa, (not much of a wine drinker but sure had a lot of fun)
Beaches are wide open to everyone and are beautiful. Kayaking the estuaries is a breath of fresh air - Even saw tulle elk.
Crater Lake is something everyone see the sunrise at least once in their life...
Mount Hood you can have a snowball fight in the middle of the summer ( and ski too)
San Francisco has the Golden Gate Bridge which is great to bike or walk across, and Fisherman's Wharf is a treat.
Alcatraz (?) is a National Park and therefore there are Rangers on the island that greet you when you arrive and if you hang back rather that hurrying up to the Prison, they often take people on a private tour of Cell Block A, and other areas that aren't included in the Normal tour...
Like Old Houses? The Hearse Castle, and Winchester House are cool places to visit
Yosemite is beyond spectacular. Jaw dropping!
In San Jose they have an art studio where they can teach how to blow glass (I think it is a 4 hour class in the evening) Up in Oregon, there are some really cool art
and glass stores near haystack rock, glass blowing there too...
Some communities like San Francisco, then to take on different personalities. Take the wharf for an example, In the early morning, It is a fisherman and photographers heaven. It is peaceful. Then, daytime it become a tourist trap, and as the sun goes down it turns into a a nite life that is filled with Jazz...

We're going to Myrtle Beach, South Caroline in September and I hope that we have half the fun we had while in Hawaii. I'll let you know how it goes:)

Let me know about Myrtle Beach. It has been about 15 years since I have been there. I am sure a lot has changed since then. I liked it, but I prefer the Gulf waters because they are clear and warmer. Better snorkeling:) | |

I adore seeing white sand, gently waving palm trees and warm blue ocean. I love it if there is a coral reef near to the shore that I can snorkel around seeing colorful coral and fish. My favorite country is Samoa, in the Pacific Ocean. I loved the unspoilt landscape, the culture, the palm fringed beaches and the traditional looking buildings. I found the prices cheap, like £10 for a fale(open thatched building) and three meals. I was fascinated to visit Robert Louis Stevenson's house and go snorkeling at a marine reserve. Wow! If you ever go there I know that you will have a magical time.

The beaches are white and the waters are calm and clear. To this day, it is my favorite place to snorkel. In Ocho Rios, there is the Dunns River Falls where you climb up a stream and waterfall. | |

I think that the Caribbean is a relaxing place to to go and I adore the warm weather. It would be so enjoyable to island hop through the Caribbean. | 7. hellcowboy (2170) | 1 week ago |  The best vacation I ever been on would have to be when I was in like fifth grade and me and my parents,went with my aunt,uncle,and cousin to Disney World because I had never been there and I really enjoyed it,the only down side was that we went in January and it was really cold during the nights,and we did not get to stay as long as I would have liked,and I would love to go back someday.
