Well, 3 days a week is better than no days at all:) It's also a nice time to just come here enjoy a few discussions and relax.
I understand your reluctance in using your time at work to do your myLotting, it's a matter of principle and a fine value.
Personally i don't come to myLot during work hours either although I don't have a problem when it's done only occasionally and not to detriment of their own job. I occasionally check something in the net during work hours, but I don't stay on it for hours.
WHere I find it a problem that conflicts with my own values is when people do it routinely and for a long time, sometimes leaving behind work that should be done.
In any case, glad you can come here at least those 3 days a week.

Incidentally, today I had a strange experience in this regard in my office. I was making an STD call for official purpose. The call was indeed long but I did not get the scope to let our operator know that it was just an official call. Eventually, after ten minutes or so, the operator signaled me to make it short. I had no option but to continue as the discussion was really urgent.
After the call, I told the operator that it was an official call and she readily told, 'Oh! you should have told me. I was just thinking otherwise.'
It is a very common practice that people use office phones like STD Booth (Free of charges), and ours is no exception.
And you have set an example at your new workplace. Hopefully, others will be also inspired to follow your path.
Above all, we are honored to get you here for three days, and why not more?
We need your expertise to guide us, in case we draw a wrong conclusion in different serious discussions here.

I toyaly agree with you. The employer is paying for the internet, and phone for their business and to me it is steeling from them, They are paying you for your time and that time should be used for the job only. If we do our own thing on their time we are steeling that time from them.

I retired some 15 yrs back, and I was allowed by my childre to work for just two yrs, almost 15 yrs past, but i never found any leisure time at my disposal. At present mylot is my pass time. I would like to ask you, why it is required to flow along with un-retired people. It may not match your freequency, and one day, you may tyhink, it was a wrong dicission. I am trying to say, taht you have some health problem as well. So just relax with your partner. Let young generation take over all jobs everywhere. AFter retirement, there is only one place for all of us to join ploitics. You can apply,'resonance' principle in better ways. have a nice time.

I do not mind if you use your connection at work, but it depends on your work rules! Being here only three days a week also works well, as long as yo do not mind then I do not mind either!

I wouldn't call that retireing its mor work, i do agree with you people should not be usesing the office phone so when you are home you can keep Mylotting, look forward to your discussions.

I think personally now that is dishonest. When you are at work no one should be using office equipment for social type sites. My Mom raised us kids never to do anything dishonest and it is not only involving money she told us. It involves anything that you have not earned. We always had to take pencils back if we brought them home and we had not paid for them. This has been drilled into us and I would never use office computers for something that is not dealing with the business. That is how I was raised and I have continued this view point for all of my 58 years.
