Who's afraid of dying?  | |  Think about it. Questions like "where do we go when we die?", Is there a real heaven and hell where people who dies are being sorted to where they deserved to belong? What will happen to me when I die? Why can't I just live forever?

| | | | | | | | 1.  lilaclady (15014) | 4 weeks ago |  I guess I am more afraid of how I am going to die rather than the thought of actaually where i am going to go as I have definite ideas that there is something beautiful after this life, spending a lot of time in nursing Homes I firmly believe that when one dies we are guided by old love ones, I have seen dying people look up and smile and even put their hands out to be guided just before they die, i just feel there is something we have to look forward to....

| | | 3. Wizzywig (898) | 4 weeks ago |  I dont think there is any point in wasting life being scared of dying. Its an inevitable fact so we need to enjoy life. Obviously, its something I consider (more so as I've got older and during health problems) and I wonder how on earth I would tell my family if I knew in advance that it was imminent - but, its something we have limited control over as is whatever happens next. I just hope I can continue to be independent and of sound mind until my time's up.
