 Did you guys know that sugar free gum causes stomach bloating? I was just watching some health expert on this show and it does cause your stomach to look bigger than it is. To make this into a discussion do you know why? I do. Take a guess if you don't know. Its like what can we have hay?

I chew sugar free gum once in awhile but am not real big on constantly having a piece in my mouth. My husband chews it all the time and he has developed a cough as a result. He must be allergic to either the brand or something in the ingredients. When he isn't chewing, he doesn't cough and clear his throat. He changed brands once but think he needs to again.

The horses do seem to like it, but I fear they too seem to suffer bloated stomachs and I would imagine it's quite dry and difficult to chew and swallow. I also wouldn't like to follow one around as they are always toileting at the most inappropriate times. Good for the gardeners, especially for the roses.
Have you any floribundas, Diane, or are you a hybrid tea kinda gal?
