My usual answer to such a statement is that you have an ego problem,
A person with an ego problem is nowhere nere understanding spiritual matters.
Why should a person ever think himself so special as to be "saved" and to hell with everyone else?

AMEN salonga! Because of what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross, we can be saved! Praise God!

I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I am saved by the grace of our loving, almighty God Who sent His Son to die in our place!

Sorry for Mr. Islander who butted in but I think you have to read my comments well. I am speaking only for myself because I am the one giving my opinion here and the only best person who can speak out of my own experience and belief. I am not speaking against anyone else. I did not tell that all the others will go to hell because I cannot speak for them for only God knows their heart. The verses I quoted Mr. Islander if you will only give proper understanding are applicable to all the people, no exception, so if you yourself will accept Jesus Christ in your heart, then you will likewise be saved! So, do it now!!! God is waiting for you!

Absolutely. I agree fully, but i am still spiritual. The religious concept of heaven is obviously bogus. I believe we will still exerience the sun and shade, the light and darkness in a continued life as we do in our present state.

Even me Ravenlady…tell me, have you ever pondered about past lives? I have! Sometimes when I am particularly alone and with myself, I can spend hours thinking of what I must have been…and I do so want to come back as a small bird. What do you want to be?

One of my favorite people to read about is Dr. Edgar Cayce. He was known as the "Sleeping Prophet". He had the ability to slip into a trance like state and project his spirit away from his body to diagnose illnesses in patients anywhere in the world.

Do a google search for Edgar Cayce or the Sleeping Prophet. Hes just fascinating.

In any case, he did extensive work in the area of reincarnation, and that is actually where alot of my beliefs in reincarnation come from. For no other reason than it makes perfect sense to me.

He claimed that humans are unique from animals in that humans have one soul. When we die, our essence return to the source but we will always maintain some semblance of individuality.

Animals however, share a kind of communal conciousness. When they die, their essence will return to the source and might take on different qualities from the other spirits within this conciousness.

I didnt explain it as well as he can, but that is the gist of it. So in that theory, if you want to be reincarnated as a bird, or a a tiger or a fish... you may be out of luck.

However, it is only one of many theories and I encourange you to do your own thinking on the matter and draw your own conclusions:)

Being a nonchristian woman heaven and hell just dont apply to me...I DO believe in a resting point in between lives but its a neutral zone not at "fluffy clouds and cream cheese" or "fire and brimstone" place...Heaven and Hell IMO are both strictly Christian ideas that I just dont believe in nor do I agree with the basics of them.....More than that, heaven/hell is here and now depending on how we live our lives, what we do with our lives etc etc...they arent an afterworld..

Thanks for coming in this discussion.I hope you remember "Draw Money",who used to discuss religious things with you especially Monotheism.I am the same person with changed user's name.I hope you remember my words," I see a Muslim/Monotheist heart/soul in your body"......The Holy Quran says God Almighty had taken an Oath of Monotheism from all the human souls before putting them into their bodies....So that they donot forget this pledge or say on the Day of Judgement that their fathers and forefathers had done polytheism and it was not their fault........In fact your soul is reminding you this Oath,that's why you are not satisfied spiritually and always remain in search of new ways to reach the Truth.Be sure you will never convert into birds or animals after your death.......The only way left for your salvation is given in my following post.Please read it and then ask your inner self about it......Sorry the question was for brother Moon but I have butt in.Hope you both will not mind it and accept my friends request due to changed user's name........
