Parents wish..................

I am not a parent. It is my conscious choice not to marry and have kids. But yes, I do get your point. I had a colleague once who wanted her daughter to be a superwoman. She wanted the daughter to top the class, play the piano, read good books, and many more things. I know this child. At heart, she is an artist; she doesn't like books, but she loves to draw, which her Mom thinks is a waste of time. While she studies and get ok grades, it is simply not her aim to top the class; she would prefer playing with the dolls and socializing with kids. While I think the child is affectionate and will do well in a career involving babies or kids, the mother feels the kid is wasting her time and would turn out to be no good. Maybe I would make a better Mom, but I don't want kids. In the meanwhile, I see around me dim witted parents expecting their kids to fly to the moon. Wonder when people will come to their senses?

Every parents ambition and wish will be one and the same that there children should be successfull in all the regions from childhood to they become parents.
