What Is Great About Your Place, (City, State or Province)?

Presently I live in Bangalore, Bangalore, the capital of the Karnataka, is fifth largest city in India. The exact origin of Bangalore is not known, but it is believed that the city was founded somewhere in the 16th century. Bangalore lies at a distance of approximately 998 km from Mumbai and 562 km from Hyderabad. Situated at an altitude of approximately 920 m above sea level, it is also known as the 'Garden City of India'. The beautiful parks and gardens and tree-lined streets of Bengalooru make travel to the city a pure pleasure. The year 2000 saw the introduction of Information Technology in Bangalore and since then, the city has not looked back. It has reaped the most out of the IT Boom in India and boasts of the highest concentration of IT companies in the country. Today, Bangalore is known as 'The IT Capital of India' and "The Silicon Valley of India'. The Bangalore city is also very famous for its amazing nightlife. Some of the most happening discotheques and pubs of the country are in Bangalore, making it one of the most happening cities in India.
There are a number of places in Bangalore that are worth visiting, including gardens, museums, palaces, temples, etc. One of the major attractions of the city is the Vidhana Soudha, the State Secretariat, adorned with delicate Dravidian architecture. For the nature lovers, there is the famous Cubbon Park, stretching over an area of 250 acres. Not to be missed are the amazing museums in the city, especially the Visvesvaraya Technological and Industrial Museum. The Ulsoor Lake of Bangalore is also quite known for its beautiful locales and boating facilities.
Even from education point of view, Bangalore is very popular. A large number of students come to Bangalore every year to enroll in the various undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs. The city also boasts of two excellent institutions, namely Indian Institute of Management and Indian Institute of Science. Bangalore is also used by tourists as the base for visiting the other cities of Karnataka.

I live in Michigan and when I lived up north, it's really beautiful in the summer with all the trees and lakes and wildlife. The Mackinaw Bridge is pretty awesome if you've never seen it, and going up into the Upper Peninsula the nature and wildlife gets even more abundant and breathtaking. It's relaxing and great for camping.:)

i bet your fiance is from Pampanga that made you say ladies from that place are outstandingly beautiful. actually, i also hail from Pampanga and has been a resident ever since i was born. you may not have asked, i also look the same. LOL, kidding aside! i am from Macabebe, Pampanga. It is a province up north but just close to the metro, reachable in about a two or three hours straight ride (including the traffic). there are a lot of great things about my hometown. the place is still very traditional that Filipino customs are being kept much with respect and honor. the people are very accommodating and hospitable that they always want to go above the raising just to serve the best stuff to their guests and visitors. the place has not yet vastly populated but the number of migrants however is increasing. but in as much as our hometown can accommodate, our town officials do very much welcome new residents to whom they can showcase a lot of traditions. cooking sisig (grilled meat torn into pieces and sauteed in onion and butter) is just one of its pride specialty. LOL.

the churches and all i would love to see and your people have always been nice and courteous to me. anyway, i have nothing nice to say about florida where i live. the only beautiful thing here to me is my daughter and grandchildren. i love ohio, where im from and it has beautiful hills, mountains, parks, and four wonderful seasons. also, the old churches and native american buildings and artifacts.especialy the southern area where im from.

i live in goa, india which is famous for its exotic beaches and cool hang outs. its also famous for its sea food and culture. the goan people are different in their own way. they have a combined culture which is a mix of indian and portugese cultures. its the most prominent holiday destination in India.
