 Today I got the "new" used, refurbished laptop that my mom got for me (I love my mom!). I can't use it yet though, because it says you have to charge it for 24 hours before first use. So I can tell you this:
It's black. It's a Compaq Evo. That's really all I can say for now. LOL! It has a few scratches on the case, but I don't care about that, it is sure to get a few more in my possession. I found a website that lists information about it if you want to see:

It says it is set up for wireless internet, that it has a "card" but I need to get a wireless connection or something. Can you guys enlighten me about this a bit? I really am ignorant of that sort of thing.
I'm very excited, I will soon be able to do my little internet job even when my husband or kids hog my main computer! Hooray for me!

You'll need a wireless router.. how complicated it is depends on how worried you are about security.. and if you have close neighbours.. and of course whether you have a bandwidth limit like I do.
People outside your home can get on if its not secured. But only if they're close enough. But unsecured is the easiest way to set it up, just plug and play. Secured takes a little more fiddling. Mine isn't secured because for some reason my laptop is finicky about logging onto it.
I leave mine unplugged when I'm not using it, in case someone is seeking a free connection, which mine isn't.

Then you just open your wireless connection icon, and connect to it. | |

Well it must have internet card which can be worked as wireless internt, u need not to have Cable to plug in to have internet access, rather get a wireless device, put it some here and roam with ur cordless laptop in home and enjoy online
