Do you like your name?

I seriously hate my real name.I would like to change it to Angel because that name means so much to me and it's a beautiful name too:)

Yes I like my name, I think it is really nice, and other people told me I have a nice name.

Hi! When I was still a small girl, many people would tease me for having a name that rhymes w/ lolo or grandpa and I hate it, especially if they pronounce it in a very hard accent. But when I was in high school, for the first time, I learned to have an interest with my name, people then seem to pronounce it so sweet that I learned to like it. In college, when Angelina gave birth to her 1st baby w/ Brad, I learned to love it more. Yeah, so you know my name hehehe... I dont have plans of changing it.

Actually when I was a child I always wanted to change my name. It was so long and so tiring to write it out every 45 minutes or so in school. I wanted a short name, something like Ana or Mary or May, anything that would be easier and faster to write. Now I am older I already got accustomed to it, but if given the chance I would still change it. But certainly not after an appliance. A flower, maybe:)

I like my name and I'm very much satisfied with it. I just don't like it when people mispronounce my name...

When I was growing up I didn't like my name much. Nobody ever pronounced it correctly outside of my family. I gave up trying to correct people in preschool, it got so that I became used to being called the wrong name. Friends would ask me later (after meeting my family) why I didn't tell them that they were calling me the wrong name. My response was always the same, "I didn't notice." It was like I had a school name and a home name.
Now that I am an adult I like my name just fine. It also made a difference knowing that my daddy named me. I wouldn't change my name now.

I like my name.but it is somewhat hard fro the others to pronounce.but no problems for me.

Actually my name is quite unique so I wouldn't trade it for any other, nor would I ever change it. Plus there's a great movie with the same title as my name. You will not need to play a guessing game to realize what I am talking about.

I absolutely hate my real name. I think it's boring and plain, and I also share it with a lot of other people too.

Given the choice to change my name, I would got for something like Lily Grace. I really do like unusual names, and two of my three kids also have unusual names.

On the other hand, I wouldn't like something thats really long, or overboard at all. I think if that were the case, I'd want to change it to something shorter or less embarrassing.

I have always loved my name. It's rare that there are very many Marilyns around...although on one job there were three of us in one department. That was fun. And my first and last name go together quite nicely.

My mother named her three girls Marilyn, Carol and Karen - and hoped (actually was adament) that no one shorten our names. She hated nicknames and didn't want to name us anything that might be given a nickname.
