Do You Bring a List, When Going to the Grocery?

I always do a grocery list and when I did not forget anything is like a win! LOL

I make a list. I cross off the items as I go otherwise I tend to miss an item on the list and then I get irritated with myself.
If I don't have a list I forget half the things I need. Now I just have to remember to write everything down I need.

Yes, I do bring a list with me so I won't forget anything and I bring a calculator also to budget the groceries.

I seldom use a list. I remember everything I need to buy and there isn't much that I need to buy. I usually buy things when they are about to finish and I only buy what I need.

I didn't worry too much about a list in the past, I just went down each aisle and grabbed what I thought I needed.

Now I keep a notepad on the refrigerator and write things down as I know I use them up, or know that I need it for something particular I want to make. I don't have the gas money for extra trips to town when I've forgotten something, and I can't afford to buy extras of things I may already have at home, but wasn't sure if I needed or not.

I definitely take the list to the store now.

I start making a list weeks in advance. As I know I am
running out of things I write them down. If I lose the list
I'm never going to be able to shop. I have lost my list while
shopping. That is a definite panic!

Hello,Eihdra!As i am doing the marketing works very time I know what things are to be brought from the grocery shop and what fruits and vegetables to be brought from the fruit and vegetable vendors.so I never make a list of the items and carry with me to the market.this I have been doing for the last fifty years.so i don't need a list of the things when going to the market.thanx.

thats always been a great problem for me!!! i cant even remember 4 items...my mom will ask me to buy some items(4 or 5)...then i'll go to nearby stores to buy rose things...as i reach the shop and when the shop keeper ask "what you want?"....i have nothing to say...

then i'll again come back to my home and i'll again get the list and go(in this gap,mom will scold me!!)...so now,i've started to prepare a list....

I usually bring a list with me. In that way, I wouldn't forget our basic necessities whenever I go to the grocery. I may add some items if there's enough budget.

I do write out a grocery list when I know I need to go. I make sure I write down all the necessity stuff first to make sure I get that. I do find that when I get to th store and get the needed stuf I find myself puting extra into my cart as well but aplurgeing here and there won't hurt for the bill is up there by the time it is all rung up. But a list is a must for me.
