Do you think friends can betray you?

I have been betrayed by friends, shafi2008. That's when I realize the person is a not a friend at all.

Yes if you get one of that you might get hurt and beware you would be harm also. They pretend being so-called as your friends but on behind they are true enemies. Before befriend someone make sure you must know first their personal background and attitude. So it is good to secure yourself possible moral lost from them.

I have been backstabbed many times by a so called friends who really turned out to be nothing but a case of the fake people.

Oh poor you! That is a horrible experience.

I have only had it happen once to me and I was shocked and just couldn't understand that it had happened.

I guess that you mean that they turned against you and not that they just made friends with someone else?

Because all my friends have loads of other friends as well. In fact, when I have a party, I sometimes forget to introduce people because I assume they know each other already if they are friends of mine.

Yet sometimes I'm amazed that two people whom I have known for many years actually have never met!! haha

oh yes, many times over the years. maybe u are too good to them. just be yourself & if they like they do if they don't "oh well". i think it's very important just to be yourself no matter who u are with .

Of course,everyone lives with his own profit, the things he done must accord with his own profit,even your friend he may hurt u to help him search for his profit.

Personally, you will always have your loyal friends who will stand by you no matter what, as well as your fair weather friends who are there for the moment, but seem to always want to move on as well. Finding the ones who will stick to you like glue is the hard part, but really worth it when you find one. All I can say, is no matter what happens, remember to stay strong, and be yourself, and remember if they decide to leave you, they might not have been the best friend for you as well.
