It is not a true friend, the good true friend that who you will find him/her near you when you need him/her, not just if he/she want something from you, it is not justice here.
I feel that you undergo from your friends, be a little careful when you choose some friend and don't give your trust so easily, so that could not hurt you any more.

We all probably have had supposable friends that have used us at one time or another. It sounds to me that this friend is indeed using you if the only time she contacts you is when she wants something, especially money. I would really think over the situation and see if you really want her as your friend. She may hurt you in the future.

I sure have had friends like that!
I found that they were not my 'real' friends. I always saw them when they needed something. In fact I had one who I really belive was being my friend in order to take my husband for herself.
She got really close with me and my children, and then started telling me bad things about my husband hoping I would leave him or throw him out.
There have been others who would only come here just to get on my computer, things like that.
Ya gotta really watch how people are very closely until you know them well enough to be sure if they are users or not.

This happened a lot to me in grade school. Isn't that annoying and doesn't it make you want to hurt something? Back in grade school I put up with it because I was practically a doormat. As I got older I learned how to ignore those kinds of people.

i know what your feeling i have the same friend he only talks to me when he needs something and let alone barely remembers my name when he needs something best thing to do is to stay away from them

I suggest you'd better get away from this kind of person,as she does not treat you as a true friend,just as a life buoy. In my opinion,we should help our friends in time,but just need to help them when they really in reasonable difficulty, but the guilty or the greedy.If she is your true friend,she must tell you what she is really facing with,but not just ask for something she wants.
In fact,I have ever met this so called friend.At the beginning,I do not think so much about this.But when she became so greedy that I could not bear any more,I just break up with her.But it hurt me so much.

I seem to be a magnet to users. I just tell my husband about it and he is very blunt in saying "no". In this sense we are opposites where he is very outspoken. I had a neighbor down the street come almost every month to ask for gas money. The first time I lend her the money but then it became ridiculous. He finally told her husband that we have five kids and times were hard. We didn't mind lending money but only if it was paid back. I have friends who stop by to borrow the computer, eat, borrow clothes, and the worse... money. We used to own a clothing store and almost every day we had people come in and say if they could get an IOU, pay later, reduce the price, it was never ending. I got sick from hearing all the stories relating to the need. Sometimes I do taxes for people at home and it's always the same thing "I'll pay you later..." some are sincere and do pay but others will not. The funny thing is when they get their taxes done elsewhere they pay five times the amount for my time.

yeah i have these kind of friends too, but not the type that wants to borrow money though. like whenever they need help with something, or wants me to accompany them to go somewhere then they'll contact me. but if i need help or if i want to go out, where are they? they'll find all sorts of excuses. darn!

Your friend is not a true friend.Because she knows to get more from you but never wants to give you anything.As for my friends,they are very friendly to me.I don't want their help,and I don't feel their situation.
