. A breakdown in communication between Wife and Husband.........

Communication between spouse is very important.
If the other is no longer confides to the partner
this will create problems. And small problems should
be taken care of before it escalates in to something
hard to control and destroy the foundation of the
relationship.

One of them should calm down and stop talking.Afterwards,they should assay the reason and decide who is right.We all know that one hand can't clap.And a clear judge can't judge the housework.

First, the question is more often than not, it's not always a sided issue...both could be unwilling to compromise,hence the trouble. If the couple is at it, they should be willing to settle their differences in less dramatic ways ...I believe in the saying, "it takes two to tango..." so for me, it's unfair to always blame the breakdown in communication to either just the wife, or just the husband. Also, if the children are already grown-ups, they can at least talk to their parents about it. A marriage counselor could also come in, and leave once both parties have agreed some time of compromises to let the marriage work. It's just a matter of having two parties discuss and talk about certain issues that are important to them, or are causing the differences. After all, 20 or more years is too long for couples to refuse to listen, to talk, and make up.

Get divorced and go on a long tour around the world, see the world and its people, learn new languages and cultures. When they get a sense of how vast the world is and how many problems the world has, they will forget their own petty problems such as "boo hoo my patidev is not listening to me or my bibi has become moti.."

From what I've noticed by watching people all of my life, women generally think about things much more than men do. This is generally speaking, of course. There are exceptions to everything.

I can see how a man would get tired of listening after 20 or 25 years. I don't agree with it or accept it, but it happens.

If it happened to me, I would "forget" some things that I would normally do for my husband... laundry, cooking dinner, something along those lines. That would definitely get his attention! Then I'd say, "Now you know how it feels when you don't communicate with me." But that is what I'd do, personally.

Another tactic would be to write him a letter. It's easier to get someone to read what's on your mind than to get them to listen to it.

All it takes is to get the message across that communication is needed and do it any way you can.

Both should come to balance in understanding then only that break can be joined or patched
