Do you like your hair the way it naturally is?

I use to hate my hair the way it was as I was growing up because I could only wear it only one way...short. I have a head of thick curly hair that looks "nappy" If the sun hits it just wrong. I basically wore it the same way except in the "eighties" when I dyed it cherry blonde and spiked it. Now at my age, I'm just happy to have hair period. Even with the multitude of grey strands that seem to be like the "sand people" from "Star Wars", they are removed easily, but they come back in greater numbers.

I always wanted to wear a pony tail, but my hair naturally grows thick and curly.Assuming that my hair will grow the way I expect, I'm not going to wearing that heavy thing on the back of my head, I might get a neck injury. No matter what hair style I try, it seems that if I see someone else with the kind of hair I would like, I begin to hate my own hair.
