Canon Ixus 950 IS.. What Digital Camera Do You Have?  | |  Recently, I had just bought a 8.0 megapixel camera - the Ixus 950 IS from Canon. It was a good buy as I got it at a bargain (warehouse price) during our bi-annually IT fair here in Singapore.
It surprised me a lot by its performance and it boost face recognition as well as anti shake software. Besides that, the shutter speed is very fast. Compared to my previous digital camera - Ricoh brand, this surpass it in terms of looks and performance in a beat.

Frankly speaking, out of the many range of digital cameras that I had used before, Canon still blows the competition out of the door. They are just that good.
(Of course, there is the minolta, but somehow or rather, the brand just disappeared!) | |

Most of the digicams these days come in more than 7.0MP with lots of extra features. What one brand digicam has, the same feature may not be found in another digicam.
I have used, Canon, Olympus and Kodak Easyshare cameras. All right, I'll admit that I love them all because of my job as a photographer. Yet, I prefer cameras that give great colors and almost true to life pictures. I use Olympus and Kodak in most of my daily clicking. They also produce crisp and clear pictures. Besides, with the advance technology, I might get new cameras in another two months! | |

| angelia286 (765) | 1 year ago | Yes, I agree with you on that. If I am not wrong, Canon was the pioneer in digital technology, and as such, they are much more advanced in their technology and performance in the camera.
I had also used the cameras that you had mentioned. However, the thing which I do not like about Olympus is the use of double A batteries. It's like savings on the camera itself but wasting money on buying batteries. Lol, I am not sure though if they had changed their camera to accept the use of litumn batteries.
