pass me the tabouli please?

I actually have had Tabouli before. Right after hurricane Katrina we were living right outside of Houston and my company had transferred me to the Houston location temporarily. One of the sales people was from India and his wife made Tabouli for a company meal around Thanksgiving.

Yes, I have heard of Tabouli before and I love it! There are different recipes, of course, but I think it is one of those things where one can add many different things. I have added radishes, cucumbers (with seeds taken out), lots of parsley, lemon, olive oil, tomato and vinegar. It makes a perfect salad for something like a barbecue! I first came across it in the Dominican Rep, where there are many inmigrants from Lebanon, and they used to call it Tipile! But I have also come across it in Australia, so it seems to be pretty international!

i loved that book. it made me cry and i will be looking forward to what people say about that dish. isnt it Jewish?

I've never eaten tabouli but heard it was good. I am a salad lover so probably would really like it. I love anything very spicy as well.

It's an Arabic dish and the primary ingredients are bulgur, parsley, mint, tomato, scallions, and other herbs with lemon juice, olive oil and various seasonings. Black pepper and cinnamon and allspice can also be added for additional flavor.

oh my word...its been a while since i have heard about that food. My aunt used to make it along with Humums...soooooo good. you should try it sometime. get it pre made with some hummus and eat them together. so very good...so very tasty.

I LOVE tabouli. I've never made it, but it's basically made of chopped parsley, wheat germ, onion, cucumbers, tomatoes, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper. I have had it most often in Lebonese or Mediterranean restaurants. It's good stuff!

I have heard of it before, but it is not something that I have ever tried before. I have been told that it is pretty good. One of these days I will buy it to try.

My sister makes really good tabouli, at least I think so. She says it is from a kit. It is cracked wheat, you pour boiling water of it. Then you put chopped cucumbers and other things in it. My sister makes some that tastes very lemony. It is good.

I have HEARD the word before, and heard eough hat it sounds like somehing to ea from The Middle East, I elieve, but I don't know enough about it to know exactly what it is, nor have I tried it before. It does sound like something interesing, since I enjoy a ariety of ethnic foods.
