pass me the tabouli please?

it is a middle eastern salad, The name Tabouli is arabic pronounced Tabouleh. it is made with parsely.

I've eaten it several times at Aladdin's restaurant which serves Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods. It's very tasty though sometimes there's a little too much parsley and lemon juice which can be overpowering and not enough wheat.

I've had it and I think it's an acquired taste because I don't like it. Tastes like a mouth full of parsley and I don't like parsley.

I LOVE tabouli! My grandma makes it the best. I've had it at other places, but she always makes it more to my liking. I'm the only one in our family besides her that likes it, so we have that in common. It is also spelled sometimes like tabouleh, but I always spell it tabouli. It has bulgur wheat and tomatoes, and green onions. I never have made it, but I love eating it!

I was introduced to Tabouli several years ago by a friend who had cancer and had begun to look for more complete nutrition in her diet.

If you like very tart food it is delicious. None of my kids like it because it's too tart, but I LOVE it. Fortunately my kids don't live at home any more so I can make it any time I want.

I never had it but I believe its a Near Eastern dish, probably Moroccan.

Seems everyone is under the concenses that it is a type of salad, but it seems that
there are a lot of different views as to what is in the salad.

I haven't heard of it before so I couldn't tell you what it is but I wanted to read
this discussion and respond anyways because I wanted to know the answer to. My
first thought when I read this was that it was some type of fish but I can see
I am wrong about that.

It sounds like people like it even if there versions of it is different. hehe

We sell this in our shop's salad bar, and it sells well. But honestly I haven't tried it even once or just tasted it. The look is just not appealing to me so I have never thought of tasting it. But since several responses here are saying it is nice I think I have to try it.
