Writing contests

i have never entered any writing contests I have entered other contests that I wondered if I met the deadline. I have never won anything so maybe I didnt make it.
Who knows? Anyway I wish you luck with your contests and your deadlines.

I often tell myself this too. Sometimes I think about the prize so hard that I lose focus on why I entered in the first place. Reason being that I love writing and I'd like someone to read something of mine. I hope that your entries are received because that would be kind of a waste of time on your part.

I haven't entered a contest but I would feel the same. The email verification would make me feel a lot better. Good luck I hope it went through.

I don't know which site this is, but they may have received so many entries they haven't yet had time to verify all of them.

I like to enter the free writing contests at Helium and my articles do quite well there. I won a second prize of $40 last week for writing about conservation and the environment.

My Helium contest articles appear as soon as I submit them and I can watch my progress, or otherwise, in the running order of the contests, as points are earned from the rating system.

I like the challenge of writing to a given subject and, even if I don't win, I find it's a good way to practice and develop my writing skills.
