What End of a Burrito Do You Eat First? |
Perhaps you just tear into the middle and eat out to each end? If so, which end do you eat toward first? Why? I'm dying to know these things about you.

1. greenglitterturtle (1487) | 4 months ago | LOL what a funny question. but it is something that people do. i usually go for the open end and don't always eat the folded end.
| |
| |
Transdisc (16001) | 4 months ago | The open end, eh? Any reason why you prefer this way, greenlitterturtle?
| |
greenglitterturtle (1487) | 4 months ago | it's more inviting because i care more for what's inside the burrito than the outside.:D

2. Goodie123 (7274) | 4 months ago | I have another sad story to share with you Trans. I have never eaten a Burrito. I do not even know what a Burrito is made of. Would you so kind as to tell me what a Burrito is, and what they are made of. Now I am not saying you cannot buy Burrito's downunder, I am only saying I have never eaten or seen one.

3. whiteheather39 (10730) | 4 months ago | I break mine in half, suck out the filling and throw the outsides away (I'm on a diet). This is just the same way I enjoy eating worms.

5. gitfiddleplayer (2387) | 4 months ago | I never got to put this on a job application so here's my shot. I usually eat the end that's open. If I really want a fun experience I'll grab a straw and suck the meat and beans and cheese out and then fill it with some salsa or Picante sauce. If I started on the other end I'd have it all in my lap and thus I'd have denim and burrito. Whew! Glad I got that off my chest.

Transdisc (16001) | 4 months ago | I eat mine in a similar way, gitfiddleplayer. I also eat cream filled donuts that way.

6. whimsystoryteller (829) | 4 months ago | Well, Trans, I've never really thought about it. I usually just eat from the end that happens to be facing me when I finish making it. I usually make burritos from my chicken meal that I get at El Pollo Loco. Both ends are pretty much the same so I just eat. Usually, I'm pretty hungry by the time I get the food home so I'm not too picky about how I eat it.
| |
| |
whimsystoryteller (829) | 4 months ago | Okay, if you are talking about a store bought burrito, which I don't usually buy, I eat the open end first so things don't fall out. But, like I said earlier, I usually make my own and don't fold either end so it doesn't matter which end I eat from except that I have to hold the other end carefully to keep things from coming out.
| |
Transdisc (16001) | 4 months ago | Eating the open end first to keep the stuff in makes sense, whimsy.
| |
whimsystoryteller (829) | 4 months ago | Yes, otherwise you end up with a big mess on your hands, in your lap or wherever you may be eating. In my case, I tend to eat while on my computer so I have to be extra careful.

Transdisc (16001) | 4 months ago | Hello nova:) I sure hope that p1ke graces this discussion with his presence and wisdom. You sound like you have quite a burrito eating system, nova.

p1kef1sh (3433) | 4 months ago | I have posted my warning Trans. But will anyone listen? Taco Bell! For whom the bell tolls more like.
| |
novataylor (1779) | 4 months ago | The bell tolls for THEE, p1key!!! Those burrito undead are searching through the night for you. They've got your scent! Better keep a sharp eye out, mister. Gala, I never thought of that! Well, I guess I'd have to try to close one of the ends up! Maybe put the end that I had to fold into the palm of my hand to keep it closed, and take a more primitive approach to 'dining'. Goodie, for you, I'd undo the buttons! Then you could at least slide your hand up my sleeve and feel that soft skin of my arms, giving me an altogether new burrito eating experience! Sounds positively yummy!!! Trans, yer right, I do have a system. But the lovely Gala had presented me with a problem to solve, one that throws my system right out the window. And I'm not terribly happy with my resolution of it. Oh my, am I going to have to resort to knife and fork, god forbid???!!! No, I won't do it! Burritos are finger food and I WILL NOT change that. It's one of the few constants in the world today!! So, open ended or not, I will accept any challenge, and continue to eat my burritos with my hands, dammit. Just please, would somebody get me some napkins? A wet wipe? Paper towel?

9. galadr1el (625) | 4 months ago | Are you really "dying" to know? I'm sorry to burst your burrito, Trans, but each end looks the same to me. I just kinda dig in. Are you eating burritos with ends that are not the same? Where do you find them?
