50% cut in SMS charges -- an icing in the SONA? not at all a good news?

I watched PGMA SONA, and I must say that I just find it all right. I do not totally go against her, nor do I totally agree with her. I think the 50% cut in SMS charges is not really in effect, for I just texted a while ago.:D However, I agree with her that the economy ended stronger, compared last year. Indeed, inflation rate increased, however, it is the matter of Stocks in the International Economy that we cannot really control. The reason why Filipinos say that the economy gets weaker and weaker is because they have not experienced the good effect. The reason behind this is not corruption by the administration, it is because we are a Third World Country. We cannot really suffice everything, and not all people can experience what the other people have. Of course, that is because, there is and maybe there will always be an invisible strata in our society.

Ha ha ha..so those who rejoiced are now thinking they are being fooled. The icing are not sweet but all sweat. We all know that she'll just tell tale on her sona and will brag all the lies that she can think of. Juan dela Cruz is more smart now and even that illegal president cannot fool us.

Maybe, the president is thinking that if the Filipinos will be busy texting all the time, they won't feel the hunger and will be oblivious to what is going around them for three months. haha..Yikes! The monstrous president was actually trying to pay off her debts to the nations by begging the approval of those ignorant of the situation. Poor families who have not succeeded in studying would end up teaming with her because of her 50% text message cut-off price. But I tell you, not all who heard it really applauded for that issue. I myself did not find it amusing for her to say that. She is still a corrupted person, even if she cut it to 25%, i will still not take my disgust to her. Shame on our president.

We have a lot of problems now and this thing, the SMS price cut-off do not lessen our burden. There are lots to be prioritized and SMS isn't one. Besides being a promo, one network already offers .50 cents on their service and that was from the start of their operation. Yesterday's SONA is just a repetition of the past, pure lies and promises.

A text promo within the State of the Nation Address?

How much more disappointing should we be with how the government is running our country? I mean, of all things that could be tackled and addressed about, a text promo is one of them?

I wasn't able to watch SONA because I thought it was going to happen the next day. I missed it, but it wasn't that so much of an importance to me. SONA is just like cleaning the president's butt - Cleaning all the bad that she has done. Yup! I say the 50% cut on SMS was, as you put it, an icing - to add - an icing to a very stale cake. I saw the newspapers with all the ladies in their very expensive gowns - like the red carpet...why would SONA be that expensive? It's just a State-of-the-nation address, a sort of announcement to the people of the Philippines. They would have diverted the unnecessary expenses to the hungry and the homeless. Everyone would have been very happier.

I did not watch the SONA either. I just heard one of the hot topic about the 50% discount per SMS for 3 months, come on is madam president is now the new endoser for this kind of promo. I don't think this is a good idea to minimize the expenses of the poor filipinos.

That's how ridiculous the fake president is. (I just forgot who first used the word "fake" president.) She's like a mom trying to give her son a candy bar. And she thinks that she can overwhelm the entire nation with that piece of candy? Oh c'mon, the entire nation believes that you cheated in the 2004 elections. Only those who were paid by the president herself, Oh i mean, by the nation's tax, were the only believers of her offered comfort.
