That is a paragraph from the article I just read. I don't think this should be allowed. It's wrong & I for one find it very offensive. The women in my family are heavy & I myself am starting to gain weight. It's not as easy as most THIN people think it is to lose weight. To me this is NOT just a game, but just another inventive way to make fun of heavy people. It's wrong & very offensive in my opinon. I am tired of the world at large making fun of heavy people. Just look at what they have been doing to the actress Kristy Alley. Am I the only one that finds this game to be offensive? Please read the article & let me know what you think about it. You can say someone is thin without anyone batting an eyelid, but as soon as you say someone is fat then all hell breaks loose.

Some people don't even eat that much & yet they are heavy. I know people like this. It's just insulting to think of heavy as they betray this princess to be...as a fat princess eating all day. Most games have thin people and food does not come into it, which working on this principle says that thin people never eat, which is also not the case as my boyfriend is thin and eats constantly.

Feminists see any sharp decline in the value of the Fat Princess as an attack on the woman as a person, and we have to respect that. But you have to agree, it IS just a game. If the game was called the Anorexic King, the feminists won't mind, the men will (though they might not XD) be offended in this case. As usual, tolerance, and change of perception is our only key.

Or how about all those RTS games where you conquer your foes and raise their towns and slaughter their peasants to encourage war?
Oh, or raving Rabbits for teaching people that you should throw cows?
Or what about dungeon keeper where you toucher people for fun?
Or about 90% of RPGs where you need to rescue the poor defenseless damsel in distress?
It's a game. I mean come on, why read more into it then that?

It seems a lot of people who dislike something now a days want to ban it. Is that fair to the people who don't hate it, or find it funny?
I happen to find Survivors offensive because of the damage they wreak, and they go about slaughtering drugged animals for ratings. So what do I do? I simply don't watch it. I do this with other things as well, I simply choose not to support a group, show, or company who dosen't do what I like. If enough consumers vote with their wallets, people in charge will get the message. | |

Fat/thin people should not let what other people say get to them. Besides being fat has a lot of benefits. If someone wants to stab you, your fat will probably cushion the knife and your fatness will protect some internal organs.
