For all those who ran or currently run Track, the best sport on earth!

I did the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, high jump, long jump, and triple jump. I got lucky and won state in all of them. My best event was the high jump. I cleared 7-1. I wish i would have had the speed to be a sprinter but i can't complain cause i had decent jumping ability.

I ran track in grade school, Jr. High and Sr. High. I was best at the 220 yard run, I always got second, never first. I ran relay too, got first in that event. I also did long jump. I held the record at my grade school, 10 feet 5 inches until somebody beat it. I loved track, I was too thin to play football so running was a great sport, still is.

I loved track so much. If I could, I would still be running track. I wasn't amazing at it, but I still loved it. I ran the 400 (was bad at it), 200m, 100m, and 55m. I occasionally did the long jump. My high school PR for the 200 is 23.3 secs. My high school PR for the 100 is 11.2 secs. And I don't recall my PR for the 55m.

Just thinking about this makes me want to run haha.

Do you believe the USA has a chance in the sprints at the World Championships of Track and Field in Berlin, Germany in this month?

I believe Jamacia will sweep all the sprints led by Usain Bolt. And if the US doesn't watch out they might lose the 4 by 400 relay. What do you think?

I made regionals in TJ in high school, which was pretty good for me since I am only 5 ft tall and I live in TX (competition is tough here)I also won state in the 4*100 relay my senior year. This got me a scholarship to a D1 School and I ran all 4 years making it to NCAA's two years in a row. College track is so different than high school. High school was fun, college was more business like. I mean you are essentially getting paid to run, school/books/food is all paid for. But then the coaches are your bosses and you have to do everything they tell you, or you will get FIRED!! Thats the only part I didnt like, besides the fact that my coach called me fat daily.
