Next weekend is our family weekend at the lake we have every year. We all stay in one cabins....all 24-30 depending on who is available....there are tents and campers too on the back lawn. During the course of the weekend we have a card tournament. Everyone throws in a few bucks and the top three get a money prize. Everyone brings a gift though so no one goes home empty handed. The gift can be anything that you want to bring....funny or nice! I found this popcorn container at the dollar store and filled it with micro wave popcorn...several varities of theater candy....some chips....napkins....Chex party mix and a gift card from Block Busters....If you were to recieve this bucket for a fun night of movies is there anything else you can think of that I should put inside the popcorn bucket?

I would love a 6 pack of Pepsi but my husband would prefer a 6 pack of Bud Light. Either or both would be a good addition to the gift. I can't think of anything else to add. What a good idea and a great gift to give.

That does sound like a nice gift that anyone would be happy to get. Maybe a couple bottles of water to wash it all down with?

Your gift sounds pretty fantastic. I'm sure you've got Milk Duds and candy bars in there already. The only thing I can think of and it's kind of "cutesy" is to include a small flashlight, as when we're at the movies, we sometimes have to find our way to the bathroom! If the person lives in a cold climate, you could include one of those lovely throws or blankets to cuddle up while watching the movie. I think you've got it covered, though. It sounds like a wonderful gift that anybody would love. Have a great time at your get-together.

Sounds to me like you have it covered. I would love to get that basket myself.

I do think I am going to add some soda as that would make for a complete movie night at home..when you add it all up it didn't cost that much so I thought the basket did need a little something extra. Thanks for the post!

Hi Jill, That is an amazing gift in itself, a movie night, all sounds to good me but I also get thirsty so the only thing I would add is a drink or drinks voucher os some sort too as limited space in popcorn container. Ellie :D
