Best Friend?

i guess it could happen. If you don't see it as the same with your friend i could see the how it could upset someone when they find out the truth. It's kinda like the reality show Reba. Where her ex husbands wife thinks of her as rebas best friend but reba don't like her at all.

My best friend and i consider each other our best friends. When I was in High School, my best friend went to a different school then me. She had a new click of friends and so did I. We still considered each other our best friends though. She became really close with this other girl who confessed to my best friend one day that she thought of her as her best friend. My best friend said, well I consider you one of my best friends too but Lyndsay (me) IS my BESTFRIEND. The other girl was so upset that she always hated me for no reason, even till this day the other girl cant stand me.

I have quite a few friends that I would consider my best friends however no-one will ever come first by my actual best friend.

Bestfriends are true friends,and i believe that we are not limited to have only 1 bestfriend. Sometimes we become selfish, we dont want to share our bestfriend for others. She must be there when we need her, someone who always available if we neeed a shoulder to cry. A person who can be with us thru thick and thin. But in other some cases, our bestfriends has other priorities too. Priorities that we are not included, but it doesnt mean ur not her bestfriend. We may share the deepest thoughts, but as a girl, u know that we have secrets that we want to keep it to ourself. And one quality to make the the friendship stronger is respecting each other. If she dont want to open like u open to her. Just respect that. Same with you, maybe she also expecting something from you, but she's not opening it up coz she is respecting your privacy.
I have 3 closest friends, true friends. And they have other bestfriends aside from us. Even if they give priority to this friends, i know that they don't love me less. I share them my secrets, my feelings, ideas, experiences with them. But i also keep something for myself. But it doesnt mean they are not my true friends. We've been together for so many years, share so many tears and laughters. We always quarell bec. our true friends were the only one who have the guts to tell us straight in our face the negative things we are doing to our self. But still they are with me even if i'm in the lowest and worst point of my life.
