High School Friends

Well, it's my own experience... when people grows up, they just go to every different directions, chasing their own dreams and having their own path. SOmetimes it's just too different so that you just not able to keep the conversation going.. sometimes things become so much different from what you thought.
Yes I had bunch of friends, i used to blame myself not not capable of keeping all of them, but then i realized that it wasn't me, and it wasn't them. the situation was different...

I have been out of school for 38 years, and I'm only in contact (regularly) with one fellow that I used to date. My best friend got mad at me for some reason in our senior year, and it took forever for me to find her again. I've lived in 4 other states since high school. She's not on the internet, but someone who knew her was and I was able to locate her. We've been in contact since - by phone and snail mail - and she could not remember why she got mad in our senior year.

Sadly, my high school graduating class only had one reunion - the 25th - and I was not in the financial position to go. We are trying to make plans for a 40th, though. I hope it works out. I'm sure by now we've lost a few classmates.

If you can, since it hasn't been that long since you graduated, I would suggest trying to keep in touch with some folks. My son (age 24) has been able to locate quite a few kids from his childhood via the internet, especially MySpace.

It has been so long since my high school graduation but the memories are still fresh. My classmates and I make sure that we see each other regularly. We also look for opportunities to hang out with each other. We have welcomed their spouses into our circle and I've become a godmother to their kids. we often update each other through phones. The last time that we gathered was just last month.
