Are you actually out making a difference?

Or do you wish you were making more of a difference?

I do a little of both. I don't have too much time or resources to make much of a difference, but I hope that one day as the kids get older that will change and I can do more to help make a difference. Our local habitat for humanity projects always seem to go on when I am pregnant. I fixed that problem, but now I have two young kids that I can't go off and do this for hours.

I wish I could think of something to do that I can take the kids. Maybe we could go to nursing homes and visit those that love children and of course are safe to be around little ones. Or it could be something just me and my daughter could do since my son is pretty wily.... I will have to think on these things. I want to make a real difference and I have worked in a nursing home, most of them get forgotten by family until holidays. Its one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed......
