how often you say "thank you"?

i will often say thank u, whenever there is a situation for me to say that

Personally, I can say that I do often say thanks to anyone who has helped me in any way; in either large favors I received from them or even minute acts they've done. For instance, I've expressed my gratitude to a co-passenger in the public utility vehicle we both rode when she got my transportation fare from me and handed it over to the fx taxi driver. It's a fairly small thing to do and I believe that anybody could do it for someone else, but my viewpoint on this is quite simple. If other people would choose not to help another person, they may do so because they really aren't obliged to do it in the first place. And saying thank you to another individual isn't also an obligation, but I choose to do it everytime I feel the urge and see the opportunity to do it.
In fact, whenever I do sincerely thank anyone who has helped me in one way, the story of the "book of Salamat" which I read more than a decade ago would always pop in my mind. Salamat is a Filipino word for thanks or thank you. To give a glimpse on the summary, it is about a guy who always expressed his gratitude to anyone who has extended help to him. And he remembers each incident on a book by jotting down salamat everytime. He is a poor man and one day, he had no choice but to sell all his belongings, including his book of salamat, in order for him to live. To everyone's surprise, it weighed more than a bar of gold when they placed them on scales. So he was paid a large sum for it, which made him happy.

For me,it´s natural to say thanks when I got something

as much as i can to tell the people how thankful i can with what he or she did. saying thank you doesnt trigger at all but the person received thank you will replied your welcome
