I would like to get some opinions from fellow mylotters about my plan to buy Sony Alpha 300.

Is it a good choice? Do you have any other better choice to go for? lol

I don't know much at all about the Sony DSLRs, sorry! I have a Sony point and shoot that I absolutely love! But as far as DSLRs go, I can't tell you anything about Sonys! Every photographer I know- whether hobbyist, amateur or professional uses either a Nikon or a Canon DSLR.

Hi, Thanks for your response. My cousins have Sony point and shoot camera. The colors of the photos are great. You can have a look at this blog which I often visit. I had a sony alpha a100 and now a sony alpha a700 and I love them both. I think the sony alphas a great cameras to use in digital photography. I never go anywhere without my camera. I personally love the DSLRs. I heard that the 300 is pretty good. Their are some websites you can go to compare different cameras to find a good one. You can try some of those sites for comparison.

Hi, Itried Sony Alpha 300. It is quite good. The photos are quite sharp and clear.
