shoot I got her body too long |
|
Well I am working on Miera's body (the fairy I am sculpting) and I am realizing that i got her wire armature too long. So I am going to have to do exploritory surgery and cut the wires and bend them in and start over on her lower body. I have her shoulders and chest done it is just from there on it is too long. Dar* it! I will post a pic of her post surgery.

I'm sure her surgery will come off without a hitch! Hope her recovery time won't be too long. Take good care of her, we're all waiting to see her!

5. creationsbyrobin (1825) | 1 year ago | Dr. Sweetdesign, was the surgery a success? Don't you just get so frustrated when a plan doesn't come together? I was making polymer clay pendants a week or so ago and after creating the pieces, I baked them, waited for them to cool and began the painting and glazing process. And that's when I noticed I never added the hole in the top of the pendant (for the ribbon or chain) before baking...UGHHH! Since I was making a custom order for someone, it was back to the drawing board. Now I have a large amount of polmer clay magnets...lol
Best wishes to you and a quick recovery to Miera!
