 has anyone forgot to charg there batteries to the digital camra and when they went to take pic the camra shut off, i did that the other day with my husbands camra i went to take pics and it said the batteries where low then shut off, i was a little mad because we forgot to charge them and we left me camra at home, luckley his takes 2 aa and he was able to find some or we would of missed out on getting some pics of family.

2.  Pigglies (5027) | 1 year ago |  I've had that happen quite a few times. With the AA batteries, I used to always just carry an extra set. But the lithium ion batteries are expensive. Or if you buy replacement batteries as spares, they aren't as good.
Now I almost always remember to charge the batteries. Although I have forgotten the memory card a few times. And then my camera only has 14 photos it will take on internal memory.

| 5. trickiwoo (1931) | 1 year ago |  I always carry a spare, fully charged battery in my camera bag! So I'm always prepared for when my battery dies!
My flash however takes AA batteries, and I often forget to bring spares, or if I'm using rechargeable AAs to charge them! I mostly shoot outdoors, so I don't use my flash too often, so it's not something I really thing about before I shoot! So yes, I've been stuck with a dead flash a few times! Which luckily I'm often able to borrow some AA batteries from someone, or stop at a grocery or convenience store nearby to pick some up! And of course, worst case scenario I can always use my camera's pop-up flash!
