Do you like cats or dogs?

Wow good discussion... See at first no ....I like monkeys they are very intelligent and good Second no I like Parrots they are very cute At third no I like Dogs.... No cats I dont like .... But I dont keep any at home because it is not good to capture any animal or bird ....because they are made to be free....but yes keeping dog is not bad ...because dog also find good to live with human beings but not monkeys and parrots they must be free.... I love both, and have had both just not at the same time. Your opinion about cats is mostly true, when you treat them just as cats, but if you play and make them part of your life they will respond exactly as dogs only not as needy as dogs, definitely when they don't whant company they will let you know! I do preffered CATS!!!

Cats can be very affectioned but they will only come to you if they really like you, a dog will be friendly to mostly anyone; even when a dog is kicked it will still come up and lick your hand in most cases. I'm not saying this is a bad thing but I like pets with a strong personality. One of my cats is very loving and affectioned but if I piss her off she will het back at me and smack me in the head when I walk up the stairs to the attic. I like that spunk, but I can see why not everyone would appreciate it. I'm not the type of person that would enjoy walking the dog every day for a long time and also in bad weather, cats have a litter box which makes it a lot easier. They don't go outside so their poo doesn't bother anyone.

i think it depends on, what is more suitable for the persons lifestyle, if out a lot and what with work then cat is more suitable, as dogs require more looking after, and hate being left along for too long, as whine and more destructive, chewing up what ever is around through boredom... whereas cats don't object so much to time alone.. dogs need to be taken out daily, are noisier so if in flat, then neighbors may not appreciate the barking.. I have had both, and now have just a Persian cat and she is wonderful, very affectionate and likes some attention but also likes her own space, which suits me well, as i am like that too hehe.. Another thing i prefer about cats, is they are cleaner and not smelly.. If go around someones, i always know if they got a dog by smell, but can never smell a cat, mine smells nice

well i have never actually had a pet. and dont really like cast or dogs. but if i had to choose one as my pet it would be a cat. though if i wanted a pet i would want a little bunny rabit.

Meow .. meow .. I had a cat once ... he sleeps with his head on my shoulder. He goes to potty in the toilet .. he sits up with me until i go to bed . He listens to my sorrow ... When i used to cry .. he was the most loving creature in the whole world . I had to let him go when i moved into apartments as he prefers the free world outside I love him a lot .. my kitty cat ... by the way he was all white (snowy white) and he keeps his fur clean .

I concur with your feeling and opinion. I had a dog as my pet years ago. Now i want to keep a cat as my pet. I like cats but somehow they don't like me!

I love cats more, because they are a lot more quieter then dogs. They only bug you when you need something and if you choose the right one, they'll even cuddle up with you when you like to cuddle. On the other hand dogs are good too, they are just messy, you have to take them out for walks, basically you have to train them to go outside when they need to go to the restroom if they aren't trained. Cats on the other hand don't need walks and they either are litter trained or they just let you know when they need to go to the restroom.
