Cribs are Dangerous  

The poor little guy! I wonder if drapping a blanket over the inside would help. That way it would kinda block him from getting even his foot through..

I think that Doctors have heard of most things maybe ask yours!

Hello there! I have 3 boys and two of them are now toddlers, I am lucky that I never encountered some problems like yours when they were still babies. I know there is a safe and standard measurement for the slot of the crib bars, i just forgot how many cm it is. Please elaborate more on how his legs are stuck on between bars so we could give more suggestion to you. Is he crawling already? or it happened when he is kicking off while lying down? Discover how he got stuck and maybe you can prevent it from happening again.

I think there is some type of mesh screening you can line the crib with to help prevent that. It's been a long time since I dealt with that so I don't know if it's a product still available or not. My oldest had really pudgy little legss LOL and she was constantly getting stuck fast between the bars. She was the only one I had that problem with so we're talking 12 years ago. For all I know the mesh liner has since been found to be unsafe too...child safety seems to be outdated after just a few years at most anymore.

I like the mesh material idea or even a blanket but you would want to make sure it is safely secured so he doesn't pull on it and suffacate or anything. Talk to your doctor and get his suggestion. Good luck.

why not buy something that is made of net. we have a crib in my country that bars are wrapped with foam and instead of bars in 4 sides its net. so that there will be no accident.

He is really lovely. I have seen the photo.I have just read an article provided by another mylotter friend that said that a particular brand is dangerous and it has been called off from the market. If I were you I would put him in a normal bed with same safety surrounding around him or else on the floor with a blanket undereneath.
