how we should control traffic and population?

It also happens here in the Philippines. Traffic is getting worse than before and population constantly increases every year. For traffic, the government is trying hard to get a solution and it's a bit working right now, but there are really some people who are resistant to changes. I hope they just follow new rules so that the implementation will be smooth and we all could benefit from it.
As for the population control, there are some programs, but I guess it will be hard to control it and this leads again to the worsening of poverty. And yes, as population increases, unemployment also increases.

The increasing population density, coupled with deteriorating civic service system and infrastructure is the chief cause of rising traffic intensity,particularly in major urban centres in India.I feel,Government alone can not sufficiently address to such crisis situation,unless people at large become more conscious and alert at individual,family and community level in maintaining desirable restraints and safety measures to counteract it. I feel,Government needs to facilitate and promote appropriate systems and measures for effective public-private partnership to generate mass awareness and education.It will help mobilize extensive public effort and resources to fight against such situation.
