Democrats go green but run out of . . .  | |  LIMOS?!? Denver the host city of the first "green" convention has a problem. They are running out of limos. The city has almost 500 limos with all their companies but that isn't near enough for all the democratic big wigs and their supporters like Warren Buffett and Barbra Striesand and Ben Affleck. So here we are at a "green" convention and these guys are too important to take mass transit from the airport. No they need a 5/mpg limo to burn fossil fuels for 20 miles to the convention then another 20 miles back out to the airport. Hipocrites!

It is something that they are putting all kinds of pressure on the suppliers to make it green but then this happens. A lot of the contractors are faced with supplying "green" products and biodegrable products but at prices of plastic and paper and cheaper goods. They aren't too happy about that. Then they see all their good work and discounts go out the exhaust of the rich peoples limos.
