Butterfly

That is a really cool picture. It seems like it is hard to take picuture of butterflies because you dont see them that often and when you do you just take pictures of them flying awya or something. It seems like they are always in motion and hard to capture when they are still. They are beautiful creatures.

Wow, that is a beautiful picture. That is awesome that she had her camera and got the shots. I often do that. I will take my camera and get something great. But then there are days that I want to but I think, "no, I don't need it." and miss something spectacular. That is a wonderful shot. Congrats. Us women love rubbing it in our husbands faces when they are wrong. hehehe!

Since I bought my digital camera a few months ago, maybe 3, I have been taking it with me just about everywhere I go. I have taken pictures of antique tractors and motors, the high school band practicing marching routines, deer prints in the local park, and I even got a shot of the high school gymnasium here in town that is being torn down.

I like the fact that the digital camera is very portable because of its size. One feature that I like about it is that it has zoom! I can zoom in or out depending on how close I want the subject of the photo.

I took a picture of a hummingbird while it was hovering near the hummingbird feeder that I have hanging off the eave at the front of the house. The picture was not blurred due to the action of the hummingbird's wings.

Nice picture! Since she went away from here, I think her obsession to the camera shows! At least, that would fill up the spaces for the time being. I know she will find that elusive site where she will rule again!

But yes, it's a good idea to take your camera with you wherever you go! You never know what you might see! It's better to take your camera and not use it then to not have your camera and see something amazing you wish you'd had your camera to capture!

I love butterflies, and would love to get some great shots of them, but i dont see many of them in my area..i definitely need to go to a nature center of sorts to take some, but havent been able to. This shot you took is beautiful, thank you for sharing.

That's a nice photograph of the butterfly, damucci. It seems that you think that your wife is right a lot. I suppose that you feel very blessed to have her in your life.

I think it is a great thing to carry your camera with you. I don't take my large camera everywhere but I do have a small digital camera that fits in my purse and I often carry it around with me. You are right, you never know when there is something wonderful to capture. On the other hand, I never thought about going to the pawn shop for camera accessories. This is a great idea - thanks. I did hear from a friend once that while on vacation they always visit pawn shops in tourist towns because many families get there and then don't have enough money and end up pawning their jewelry or camera or such. You never know what you can find and I love finding a deal!
