i love you!!! |
|
while writing another discussion, i remember an instance so long ago where a dear friend of mine was asking me a very interesting question. He was thinking then if its wrong to say "I love you!" too many times in a day. He said, he was just being expressive, however, his girlfriend didn't quite like and believe him that way. With regards to this, how often do you want to hear this too good phrase from your partner and why? How often do you say that to him/her and why?

My boyfriend only tells me two or three times a week, and whilst I'd love to hear it more I think it makes it mean more when he does say it.

| sapphire_b (90) | 1 year ago | wow, how sweet are you. That's nice and i like it too. Then, i said to my friend that it still depends on the receiver of the words, if it was me, I'll be very happy...hehehe Do you think all people do mean the words when they said so? Especially when its so often? hehehe

I can't believe she is complaining about this when many women complain that men don't say it enough or hardly say it at all (and the women are right!). She should be happy he is saying it.

| sapphire_b (90) | 1 year ago | truly i believe that many women like it so. On the other hand, maybe hearing it too often from a man could also mean that he is really badly in love and she could not return the favor yet...you know...the feeling of commitments some people really afraid of, or being not ready yet....i just thought so...don't you use to say it?

howard96h (5694) | 1 year ago | If I am in love yes I will say it, sounds like he is very much in love with her and it also sounds like she might not be in love with him, if it is turning her off. When two people love each other they want to hear these words and it is usually the men who have a hard time showing these emotions unlike women who are not afraid or uncomfortable showing theirs. If she is in love with him then she would be happy to hear him say it. Sounds to me like there is only one person in love here.

4. youngsweetheart (630) | 1 year ago | When I love someone, I say it often. Before getting off the phone with my husband, I say it. Before one of us leaves the house, I say it. Sometimes randomly during the day. I say it to my mother everytime I speak to her, as well as many of my friends. It's an emotion that deserves to be expressed, and often. It can come off as insincere if said too much - for instance, if he says it every half hour just randomly, I can see where that might be irritating. But honestly, if you feel it, you should say it. Don't hide it or keep it to yourself just because you're afraid of looking like a fool.

| sapphire_b (90) | 1 year ago | well i think you are right...on my own point of view, we should not really hide if we mean the words, as much as it depends on the receiver, it also depends on how you can accept what the receiver would say about that if your are one expressive person. Probably, if you mean it...you wouldn't really mind whatever he/she would say....

5. Wizzywig (2909) | 1 year ago | Being old and cynical, I am not bothered about hearing the words. It is easy for anyone to say them without meaning the sentiment. A declaration of love on its own is of no consequence... it's the thoughtful, caring actions which count.

6. orejin (177) | 1 year ago | hi...more then saying that phrase..i believe in expressing the love in some other way.whats there to say...i believe silence is the best language for love...if you really care for someone..then you really do some work in favour of him/her which keeps her/him happy,,the care for each other matters....when you are seating near you...but you are silent...doesnot your love understand whats going inside in ur heart..like that,,,love for each other is to be realised and to be felt.. nothing like that if you say more times "i love you" in a day means you love somebody too much and the one who does not say love somebody less...it differs from man to man....LOVE IS A FEELING FELT IN HEART..its we human who has different style to express....love...ITS MY OPINION....for me..i say sometimes...other time i always want to express the love by some other way..like listening to her..helping her.....being a companion when she in hard time...sharing everything....
