What do you think is the main reason for obesity in America?

In my opinion, you are perfectly right. Besides, "junk" food is really cheap while vegetebles and such are extremely expensive. So when you have little money, the choice is easy to make. Also, so many sodas and drinks are full of sugar, and they don't fill your stomach.
Of course look is not the most important, but obesity is a problem that can ruin one's health.

I think the fast foods, pizza delivery, microwave popcorn, restaurants everywhere and less physical activity all are culprits to obesity. Supersize it! Then supersize yourself.

We don't do as much physical work as we used to either. Just think of all the things that make our housekeeping easier, and how much less work we have to do than people used to do. I have recently started hanging all my laundry out on a clothesline to dry in order to cut back on the expenses of running the dryer. Well, I was bending over to pick the clothes up from the basket, then reaching up to hang the clothes repeatedly and thought to myself how this must have been one of the many housekeeping chores that would have kept a woman's waist slender enough to wear those shirt-waist dresses.

If we went back to cooking our meals, eating smaller portions, leaving out the pop, frappuccino's, and started doing our chores the old fashioned ways, we would maybe lose a few pounds and maybe even cause less waist and pollution.

they also have a lot of eggs,butter,cheese,choco, non veg.... a day!!! i think thats why there is too much obesity in america!!
