How much time do THEY need to spend in the mirror?

I never spent a lot of time in the mirror for makeup or hair.. well, when its curly its wash and pray.

But as for the clothes, I have the answer to that. It is a quest for the outfit that does NOT make me look fat today. And the windows? It is because we all grow fatter over the course of a day and need to be sure we havent reached the point where we really need to go home and change into something less fattening.

mrghill - hi. I suppose people who look in the mirror are self-conscious, worrying about the little gremlins you mentioned. Or, maybe they're trying to lost weight, and you can't really tell in your own home.

I spend as little time in front of a mirror as possible. Blush, mascara, I'm done. Lipstick goes on while I'm stopped at a red light, or right before I go into a store. I wish we didn't have mirrors. Why do we need them anyhow?

LOL i dont know...i am the kind to go out wearing the first thing that i find in my wardrobe, with totally bed-hair, and most times i dont even look at myself in the just-face mirror before going out...not because i dont care about myself, simply because id ont care about what others will think of myself...wearing make up is something totally away from my world so i dont even understand the need for it...i think most people are totally more beautiful without it and yet they ruin their skin and health with horrid chemicals..whatever rocks their boat...i think these persons just want to be accepted in an all-appearances-based world so to them it's important ot make a good-visual first impression...me i prefer to be accepted for who i am on the inside, if they need to judge my outsides, then they are not worthy my time and i couldnt care less what they thought of my face and clothes...

Well she likes to look good I guess. I think kids that age are very conscious of their own appearance and it is so important to them that they will obcess over it.
I guess you just have to grin and bear it. I dont know what else to tell you. I hope she is is nice on the inside as the outside.

i would say, that sometimes girls puts too much time on the mirror. i don't mind if they want to make themselves look better. but when they are over doing it, it would not be that good. i mean my girl take like hours to dress up and make themselves look nice. i would say to her that you are the prettiest girl on the world but they still want to fix there outfits and fix there makeups...

haha well as a girl myself, i'd have to speak for all girls when i say us girls do think we're the most beautiful things alive. if we didnt, we wouldnt have the confidence that we do, besides there's nothing wrong with looking pretty, wether its for a guy or just for the world. this may sound stupid but people do cheer up seeing a random pretty person on the streets that just wants to make you smile. and girls like to do what girls do best!!! and ofcourse we look in the mirror constantly to assure ourselves that our makeup is in place or wether we need touch-ups. instead of questioning this, i think you should just be glad if you had a girl who takes extra long just to look pretty for you or any random stranger who looks pretty and smiles at your direction. just appreciate it. you'll learn to see the brighter side soon.:)
