have you experienced lightening strike near your house?

well yesterday!! the weather was really very bad!!! too much lightening and thunder.. i think there was a lightening strike near my house.. i literally felt the jolt!!! my father who wa ssitting in the balcony came running in !!!!
have you ever experienced anything like that??

Yeah, it happens a lot in this area. I live in the Tri State area, in Jersey, and we get a lot of bad thunderstorms. And I know for a fact that a bolt has hit my house a few times. I can feel the electricity through the floor. Yeah, not fun. Even when it's a few feet away from my house I can feel the jolt. Pretty weird.
