Are electric car parts cheaper than car parts for gasoline powered cars?  

i do not know about all electric cars but i do know some things about the prius, i know that it costs around $300 to replace the headlight at least for the person that i knew and that the airbag went off when hittang a pothole and that cost over $3,000 to get fixed because it locked everything up.

i'm from a chinese electric car manufacture, i know that electric car parts are not cheap,gasoline is expensive,but we have to add it everyday, electric car parts are expensive, example batteries, motor, controller are expensive, but they are no need maintenance, and no need to cost money everyday.
so, electric car is much more economical and environmental.
